You are those who have continued with Me in My trials. Luke 22:28.

I recall all You have done, O LORD; I remember Your wonderful deeds of long ago. They are constantly in my thoughts. I cannot stop thinking about Your mighty works. Psalm 77:11-12.

And continuing our 351 Old Testament prophecies, promises of God, fulfilled in Jesus Christ, we come to number 148: Son of David. Psalm 110:1: The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.” And, Matthew 22:42-43: “What do you think about the Christ, whose son is He?” They said to Him, “The son of David.” He said to them, “Then how does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying, ‘The LORD said to my LORD, sit at My right hand, until I put Your enemies beneath Your feet”?

As I was sitting in prayer after reading my devotionals, I couldn’t help but pray for God to help me stop seeing the negative, the impossible. And He reminded me – there is a burden with seeing only negative; it is the weight of judging and condemning that brings hardness. It is a death. Choose trusting Me and the love I bring. Choose the light of My truth My love brings in abundance. Choose loving Me and My life.

I see the discord among people today and I can scarcely, no – I cannot imagine all people one day living with love for Creator God – Father, Son, Spirit, and love for one another. Yet that is the life God offers us. It begins with trusting Him for all things. Our lives lived in this fallen world bring hurt and hurting we find so hard to let go of. I can’t change the hurt I have caused others or the hurt others have caused me. I can’t. But I can trust the healing being with God brings. I can pray for all people and for the realization of their deep need for God and the healing only He can bring to give hope and meaning because all of this we live both good and awful has meaning. It means something important.

***DEEP IN GUILT – O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift my face to You, for our iniquities have risen higher than our heads, and our guilt has mounted up to the heavens. We are deep in guilt.
