The Blessing of God’s Love Heals the Pain We Hold Inside

But just as it is written, “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.” For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. 1 Corinthians 2: 9-13.

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10.

He had healed many people that day, so all the sick people eagerly pushed forward to touch Him. Mark 3:10.

And continuing our 351 Old Testament prophecies, promises of God, fulfilled in Jesus Christ, we come to number 41: “Had you believed Moses, you would believe Me.” Deuteronomy 18:15-16: The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him. This is according to all that you asked of the Lord your God in Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, “Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, let me not see this great fire anymore, or I will die.” And, John 5:45-47: “Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have set your hope. For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

Last night on the Angel app we watched Universe Designed. Designed is such a beautiful word because it took the mind of Creator God – Father, Son, Spirit, to create the infinitesimal exactness needed for life on our planet to exist and flourish. One of the speakers shared the question asked of him by an atheist in the audience where he was giving a talk about God, that if God exists why does He allow evil? And that was such a good question. He answered the man that God can stop the evil – “starting in you…and in me”. And doesn’t that change the tenor of the question? Change the evil in the world, but don’t mess with me. Why is there evil in our world? Because we do evil and cause great pain and suffering. Why do we do that over and over and over again? Only Creator God in His infinite wisdom truly knows. And He shared with us the way that leads to life with good deeds, and the way that leads to suffering with evil deeds. And He gives us free will to live in this amazing physical life we are given by Him, on a planet surrounded by the heavens He designed with such beauty that declare His glory and the works of His hands so we are without excuse as we claim ignorance and our own moral superiority. It boggles the mind if we stop and truly consider our world and ourselves in it. And all of it wrapped in the words of Jesus while He was here with us as He spoke about John the Baptist and all of us: “You have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth. But the testimony which I receive is not from man, but I say these things so that you may be saved. He was the lamp that was burning and was shining and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light. But the testimony which I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish – the very works that I do – testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me. And the Father who sent Me, He has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His form. You do not have His word abiding in you, for you do not believe Him whom He sent. You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life. I do not receive glory from men, but I know you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves. I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him. How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God? Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have set your hope. For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?” John 5:33-47. Einstein proved things he refused to accept that pointed to a beginning of everything in our universe including time. It took Hubble showing Einstein through his telescope that the Universe is expanding from a point of beginning and is not fixed. What are we not willing to accept? Which begs the question, why not? The next time we judge God for the evil we do, remember, He can stop it – beginning in us. Are we willing?
