You made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to set. Psalm 104:19.

And continuing our 351 Old Testament prophecies, promises of God, fulfilled in Jesus Christ, we come to number 26: His exaltation predicted as Yeshua. Exodus 15:2: The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise Him; my father’s God, and I will extol Him. And, Acts 7:55-56: But being full of the Holy Spirit, he gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God; and he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”

Sometimes I have a hard time reconciling these modern times we live in with the times Jesus the Son walked this earth we live on. I’m not sure why. I think that’s why I like The Chosen so much because they take great care in depicting what physical life would have looked like then for all the people in that region from the Jewish people to the Romans and everyone in between. And yet we are all of us a part of this great sweep of life Creator God began. All life from trees to plants to animals and birds and fish and us were birthed from what came before. There is a beautiful continuity in that that I don’t want to miss or overlook. Generations of people birthed anew to live and grow and experience this life we have been given. What if you or I had never been? A unique life would have been missed. Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. John 12:24. If a man dies, will he live again? All the days of my struggle I will wait until my change comes. You will call, and I will answer You; You will long for the work of Your hands. Job 14:14-15. Whether we understand or not, whether we believe or not, we have life because Creator God created and His creation is so staggeringly beautiful and unique. Can you imagine life without color or sound? And I love that Stephen just before he died by stoning was able to see Jesus, Yeshua, Son of Man, Creator God, standing at the right hand of the Father. All of creation birthed from what came before. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. And all things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 1:1-5.
