For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Colossians 1:16-17.

And He said to them, “O foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory?” Luke 24:25-26.

If we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection. Romans 6:5.

O Lord, if You heal me, I will be truly healed; if you save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for You alone! Jeremiah 17:14.

And continuing the 351 Old Testament prophecies fulfilled in Jesus Christ: 2. He will bruise Satan’s head, Genesis 3:15: And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise Him on the heel. And the New Testament fulfillment, Hebrews 2:14: Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil. And 1 John 3:8: The one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.

These prophecies are a roadmap showing us the truth of Creator God – Father, Son, Spirit, and His love for us. Without Him we can’t see. I was so struck yesterday watching the return of the four astronauts aboard the Artemis II spacecraft. For everything at every stage to go so flawlessly by design speaks wondrously to the amazing capability God gives to minds seeking knowledge and understanding of the natural laws He has put into place in the Universe He created. As one astrophysicist said in commentary, our planet would look just like the surface of the moon were it not for our protective atmosphere because we, too, are bombarded by meteors. And seeing our beautiful planet as they saw it, revolving steadily, with a visible thin band of atmosphere above and cold darkness beyond, how can we not be in awe? And with that same awe, can we then marvel anew and look inward at our own hearts changed by the healing presence of Creator God? Hearts seeking knowledge and understanding of the beautiful spiritual laws given for our healing in Him, laws every bit as real as the laws of the physical realm we inhabit. The astronauts, highly skilled and incredibly knowledgeable, are blazing the way forward and they were deeply moved by all they experienced and saw; and they sought to share with us their awe for the Creator who provided this spaceship we call home.
