Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14:6.

I hope to be back to sharing Scripture with you tomorrow. I have been experiencing back pain that is slowly improving. The heart pain, however, seeing all that is going on in our world presently, can only be held in Jesus, the Son, Creator God.

Increasingly, I am realizing a very simple need. Jesus. All of Scripture points to Him. All of the brokenness of this world points to our desperate need for Him. This world’s systems are built upon shifting sand and we are watching in real time how unsteady and fragile they truly are. There is nowhere for them to go but crumbling down.

And there is hope. Jesus. He overcame this world. Not with violence or force for that is the exact, always failing way of this broken world. He came to show us the better way and that is in Him showing us how loving our Father and trusting the guidance of the Holy Spirit works in real time.

As I feel overwhelmed with what is happening in our world today, I am so grateful He has helped me look to Him because as I look to Him there is such joy and hope and trust. We need Him family. All of us. As we love Him and He helps us choose to love one another, we see the way forward. Steady, enduring, trusting Him for all things. It is His LIFE present with us that will steady us. He showed us the way so that we need not fear the end of this life lived in a broken fragile world. We need never fear Him. And we can turn to Him with our hearts open and needing His Love He gives always. Don’t ever be afraid to turn to Him…be afraid not to. He knows all our sins, faults and failings – and – our struggles and joys and love given and received. That’s why He came. To show us a better way with Him helping us with all of it. He is the way and the truth and the life. Through and with Him we find the Father’s Love. Our greatest treasure and deepest need.

Jesus is here as we live this physical life now and as we pass into death to what is next and for why we were created. I love that the angel armies, the angelic host, the seraphim, cherabum, 24 elders, archangels, all praise Creator God. They are with Him always. They know! We can too! Creator God IS. And we are truly blessed in Him.
