As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. Psalm 18:30 NKJV.

There is something deep and joyful when you talk with others who love Creator God – Father…Son…Spirit. A lifting to hope in your soul starved for meaning and understanding. Isn’t that what Scripture is? Holy Spirit inspired that leaves nothing out. The raw, the awful, the wondrous, the courageous, the love of God never abandoning us. And in our chapter, Proverbs 27, more words of wisdom handed down…Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring…Anger is cruel and fury overwhelming, but who can stand before jealousy?…Better is open rebuke than hidden love…Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of a friend springs from their heartfelt advice…As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another…As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart…The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but people are tested by their praise…v. 1, 4, 5, 9, 17, 19, 21.

I loved this morning in My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers…”Stand true to God and He will bring out His truth in a way that will make your life an expression of worship.” Walking with God and walking with others who love God will bring into your life an expression of worship that will lead you forward on a path that never takes away understanding. We grow as we love God! Our trust and faith in Him is developed and nurtured and it is good! And it is good because God is with us. We need Him, people! He’s here…always! When you come to that place of need that nothing in this world can answer, pray. Ask for His help. Sit in quiet and wait. Let your spirit in quiet reach out to Him. Listen as He lets His peace settle deep in your soul and His Spirit speak love to you. Let His comfort soften blows that have hardened within. Let Him remind you that you are His child, dearly loved. And let your heart give thanks and praise to Him. Something fundamental changes within us when we trust God to love us. We become the children of God dearly loved. We become.
