“Let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord. Jeremiah 9:24 NKJV.

There comes a point in our walk with God that we begin to see His kingdom at work in us today whose hearts are turned to Him. In amazement we realize this work being done in us is our Creator God’s work and it is for the good of all of us. We are not the author of Good. Only God is and we can trust Him for all things.

The author of Psalm 75 knew this. So can we. We praise you, God, we praise you, for your Name is near; people tell of your wonderful deeds…You say, “I choose the appointed time; it is I who judge with equity. When the earth and all its people quake, it is I who hold its pillars’ firm. To the arrogant I say, ‘Boast no more,’ and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horns. Do not lift your horns against heaven; do not speak so defiantly.’” v. 1-5. We can be near to God now. No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt themselves. It is God who judges; He brings one down, he exalts another. In the hand of the Lord is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs. v. 6-8. No one in all the earth can claim to be just. Can you imagine the cup of judgment in the hands of any mortal human? Do we not try to take that right when we judge others? This world is in need of God’s judgment, not ours. As for me, I will declare this forever; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob, who says, “I will cut off the horns of all the wicked, but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.” v. 9-10. Only God can judge with Wisdom.

Never forget and hold close this truth…Let him who glories glory in this…that he understands and knows Me,…that I AM the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight, says the Lord. Can you imagine? Lovingkindness…judgment…righteousness in the earth? Even now the Lord is preparing hearts and minds to trust Him and His timing for our Good. He is preparing us for life with Him. When you know God’s love your life changes. You begin to trust Him for absolutely every thing. In trust in our Creator God – Father, Son, Spirit – is His peace and great joy! He is here now where He has always been – loving us. To walk with our God is to walk with the help of the Holy Spirit and to begin to cherish the Truth of our life with God. Life without hate, without sin, without idolatry…without darkness. The Law of the Spirit. With our God’s help we can begin to live that truth now. It doesn’t change us overnight and that’s okay. Truly! We go at His pace for us in His timing and wisdom and above all, in His love. Everything is God’s love!
