Our son and daughter-in-law are flying in today for a family visit and when our daughter recovers from a virus soon, we will all be together after 5 years apart. Needless to say, I didn’t get much sleep last night. I didn’t do my usual Bible chapter reading this morning but I sat in prayer with our Creator God – Father, Son, Spirit. I thanked Him for family. I thanked Him for the beautiful early morning light displayed outside the window. I thanked Him for my first family and that my sister is also on her way here with her family. I thanked Him for our family grown so wonderfully with extended much-loved family. I thanked Him for friends. Everything…everything we hold dear and love is because God created. After prayer with Him, I listened. His words to me? 

Remember with love. All love you have given and received. Love remains always. Love softens pain. The most important gift you will ever receive or give is love. Choose love always. Let My love guide your heart and mind. Let My love seep deep within your soul and know the refreshing and renewal that is in Me. I Am your life given in great love. Rejoice and be with Me. I AM. 

My response to God? …I am so grateful for You, Lord. Because of You all that we love is. Thank You that You have brought me to a place with You that I can appreciate and savor in truth Your love so evident in all You do. You are Creator and Sustainer and above all You are Love. Open our hearts Lord and help us see. Help us be glad and rejoice in You and through You with one another. Thank You Lord. Thank You for You. 

I hope one day you sit in quiet and consider the blessings in your life…remember. How are they possible? Remembering and pondering the good helps us appreciate how different the bad is in this world and in our own lives because in every life is good and bad. The bad is but it doesn’t come from God. As you remember the good rejoice because that is what God desires for us. Rejoice and be with Him who is Love. He’s here. Always. Loving you.
