Walk In Faith – You Are Choosing God

From Jesus Today these 3 Scriptures:

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9.

Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:25-26.

In our chapter, 2 Chronicles 29, Hezekiah is now king of Judah and He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father David had done. v. 2. They sought the Lord and worshiped Him with singing and music and with sacrifices and most importantly, with hearts and minds turned to Him. Isn’t that the sacrifice the Lord desires? Hearts and minds turned to Him, our Creator God?

War is being fought today in Israel. Hundreds are dead on both sides and there are men, women and children taken who must be so terrified. My prayer? For every nation. My prayer is for God’s perfect, loving will to be done in all the earth as it is in heaven. My prayer is that each person comes to the realization that on our own we are lost repeating the same lessons over and over with the same outcome: wars, hate, disrespect, dishonor. That pathway is so well trod it’s hard to climb out of the steep trench we and others have dug.

Climb out. Walk in faith. In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Come, descendants of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the Lord. Isaiah 2:2-5.

And remember I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:20. How do we know we walk in faith? We follow our Creator God. He is the One leading us faithfully. Keep your eyes on Him. He’s here. Always. Loving you. Where God’s love is you follow Him.
