I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. John 12:24-25.

Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 2 Corinthians 9:10.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. 2 Peter 3:18.

We can read Scripture and learn so much and yet miss the most important part. Reading 1 Chronicles 23-27 is to read about the dedication of the Levites to the work of the Temple and each had their part in singing, in gate keeping, in the care of the treasury, in the teaching of the tribes distant from the Temple. They were discovering anew the practical work in glorifying God.

We don’t have a Temple today. We are the temple. Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? 1 Corinthians 3:16. Can we thank God for that truth? Can we let Him teach us? You will never be scattered who trust in God. Arise, shine for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. Isaiah 60:1.

The light of God’s love shines in our hearts and we can grow! We can turn away from anger, hate, bitterness, envy and in turning away from what is dead – turn to all that is Life. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:4-5.

We need God so we can grow. He’s here. Take His hand. The darkness of this worlds seeds is dying. We have the light of His truth and His Love that no darkness can dim. Claim His Love. Grow! And give Him thanks and praise for all that He is and all that He is doing in you. It is so good!
