Ask now about the former days, long before your time, from the day God created human beings on the earth; ask from one end of the heavens to the other. Has anything so great as this ever happened, or has anything like it ever been heard of? Deuteronomy 4:32. Think of how many times we humans could ask that question of ourselves throughout our history. You were shown these things so that you might know that the Lord is God; besides him there is no other. Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other. Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the Lord your God gives you for all time. v. 35, 39-40.

Love does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. I Corinthians 13:6. What is the truth? The Lord is God, besides Him there is no other. There is no one like God. He never lies to us. He rejoices in the Truth which He gives generously to us because of His great love for us.

He loves us so much He became one of us to show us what true love looks like in human form….the love of the Father for all of His children. No longer can we think He is separate and far away and couldn’t love us because of our sins. He loved us enough to die for us destroying sin and death. He is right here and He longs for you to know His love and that His love is eternal and His love is for you. For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God v. 24; He is jealous for us and His love for us will consume all that is evil, and not of love within us and restore us to our true home in Him. Has anything so great as this ever happened, or has anything like it ever been heard of? You were shown these things so that you might know that the Lord is God; besides him there is no other. He’s here. Take His hand. He loves you.
