Today in the United States is Father’s Day…and I can’t help but sing for joy for our Father in Heaven! I love this first sentence in Jesus Calling today…I am the firm foundation on which you can dance and sing and celebrate my Presence.

I realized in prayer this morning that my love for Him is lifted up into a dance we share. We can be joyful together, peaceful, quiet, present.

When I am afraid, my Father is strong. When I am sad He comforts me. When I am weak He reminds me He is here with me. He encourages me. I am set free in Him to be. I am thankful for so many things but I am truly thankful for Him.

Pray. Pray and find that joy, that peace, that comfort, that assurance of His Presence with you. Then sing and dance! Rejoice! He will lift you up and fill your heart with His love….the most wonderful, generous gift you will ever receive….and you will find your heart receiving and giving back to Him this love you share in a dance that is yours and His.
