I have asked myself that question many times. My son suggested a blog so I can share my growth spiritually as a daughter of God; so I can share my journey and new insights with like-minded people or perhaps with people who have never given much thought to God.

What motivates my own personal journey is John 17:3: Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

The more I study God’s Word the closer I long to be with Him and the more real and personal He and the people of the Bible become.

In Jeremiah 29:13: You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. In Matthew 7:7: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

I love those promises and I am finding them to be faithful and true.

I am not a Minister or a Theologian. My perspective is of a lay person excited to be learning from those who do have so much more understanding and it is my joy to learn all I can and then share that here with you.
